Each Pelican Provenance piece is one of a kind. No two boards are the same, because no two trees grow the same way. Every knot, grain line, live edge, colour shift, and mark belongs to that piece alone.

Some carry a known story of timber, place, or age. Others speak more quietly through their grain and character. None are generic.

The Nesting Oak

Clyde Valley White Oak

It stood where the field ended and the wood began — a white oak at the edge of things, with open sky before it and woodland behind. Our best estimate places it at around 180 years old, and given its scale, perhaps approaching 250. The branch mark near its heart gives this board its name.

This board comes home with its own Record of Provenance — the full story of the tree, its Technical Registry, and a signed certificate, dated the day it goes to its keeper.
